Nagi Noda is a Japanese pop artist and director who has been called “one of the most influential woman in Japan.” Nagi died on September 7, 2008, at age 35, after surgical complications from injuries sustained in a traffic accident the previous year. The last thing she worked on was this music video and album art for Japanese singer MEG.
In this video, Nagi uses kuroko, a traditional Japanese theater technique involving several stagehands dressed completely in black, to make things appear to be moving on their own.>
